The miniature electret supercardioid microphone DPA 4097 comes directly from DPA 4099 for music instruments. With its short gooseneck and integrated shockmount, it is specially designed for sound in picture, as an auxiliary mike for example in cars.

Our recommendations

Remember that DPA electret lavalier microphones, unlike other conventional electret lavaliers (COS-11, MKE 2, MKE 40, B6, CK 77, MCE 5, TRAM, VT500 and other headbands), meet the electro-acoustic phase standard: positively increasing sound pressure produces positive going voltage. Take this into account when using it on a transmitter or in wired use with the DCA blue or v2 lavalier microphone preamplifier (which reverses the phase).
