AKG CK 77 WR, electret lavalier microphone, is not as small as some of its competitors, but the AKG CK 77 is waterproof and sweatproof. Its capsule is made up of two membranes laid out laterally, which, according to the manufacturer, gives it great sensitivity and cable noise immunity. The original protective grid is removable and can be replaced by a model providing about +4 dB to 10 kHz bump; this allows partly compensating for presence loss if the microphone is deeply concealed under clothing. The CK 77 is provided with a connector which allows it to be adapted to any wireless transmitter or to Phantom powered microphone preamp.
