DCA Otoquad resolves how to listen to four tracks with only two ears. The OTOQUAD has been developed by DC Audiovisuel as a complement to the DEVA II, whose monitor selector ergonomics leaves something to be desired. It is used to control four unspecified sources (two video camera sound outputs, for example). It features a mono monitoring knob, completely separated from main monitoring, variable at will, allowing one to manage monitoring outputs to director, continuity person, assistant directors via Lectrosonics or Comtek systems. The OTOQUAD is also provided with stereo input, for monitoring of a summing recorder or of a wild track recorder, etc... In short, the OTOQUAD makes possible central monitoring management.
