Here are some of the achievements of our power supply and mic preamp engineer:

- Development of a charger for four LiPo batteries (1S) type BA62, for Sennheiser SK 6212 digital audio transmitters. Powered by 110/220 Vac or by DC voltage (battery) from 9 to 24 Vdc. Custom design of the case and 3D printing for production.

- Upgrade of Cyclope: minor bugs fixed, mainly display bugs; compatibility with the new AudioRoot Li-Ion NEO batteries: charging no longer stops unexpectedly. Estimation of the RSOC of a non-SBS battery when connected, by measuring its OCV (open circuit voltage) after setting up its chemistry.

- Same function integrated to Junior (v0.59); a newly connected non-SBS battery is no longer considered 100% full: its relative capacity (RSOC) is estimated by measuring its OCV.

- Design and production of a "patch" (small printed board added on the output card) for Mentor, replacing the two USB-A ports of the output n°7 (Aux) by an USB-C PD port. This port has five possible profiles, depending on the device connected: 5V/3A, 9V/3A, 12V/3A, 15V/3A and 20V/3A. Note that this last profile (60W) can power a last generation MacBook Pro. Mentor #11 to #15 rented from DC Audiovisuel, have been provided with this "patch".

- Design and production of an USB-C to USB-A X 2 power adapter, very compact. Capable of delivering 2 X 1.5A under 5V to quickly charge Apple iPhone and Samsung Galaxy.

- Design and production of an USB-C PD source delivering 5V/5A, 9V/5A, 12V/5A, 15V/5A and 20V/5A profiles (100W), powered by a 9 to 24V battery, wired in XLR4. It is clear that this battery must be able to provide at least 110W of power, to take into account the inevitable losses. Two versions are proposed: vertical input and output, on the same side, for use in the bottom of a bag; horizontal input and output, opposite, for reduced vertical space.

- Design of a prototype "Sink" USB-C PD, whose output voltage (profile negotiated with the source) is adjustable by a rotary switch. The output current is fixed at 3A. Output on XLR4F connector. Currently the chips are out of stock worldwide...

- Design of a small wired preamp for electret lavalier microphones, very useful in post-synchro. This preamp is smaller than José Miné's previous "blue" preamp and offers better audio performances.

An example of how our power stations are used: Junior USB-C made Noémie Lvovsky's last movie with production sound mixer Clément Laforce, having replaced Jean-Pierre Duret, powering a 15" MacBook Pro (for Pro Tools), the digital-analog interface, the Euphonix control surface, the Pastega transmitters, the video monitors. 75W at most, the MacBook powered by USB-C.
