The 43rd César Award Ceremony, oraganized by the French Academy of Cinema Arts and Techniques, took place on March the 2nd at the Pleyel Hall. The ceremony paid tribute to Jeanne Moreau whose an awesome portrait from the Truffaut film "The Bride Wore Black" enlightens the event poster.
Barbara, a film by Mathieu Amalric, was awarded two prizes:
- Best Actress for Jeanne Balibar;
- Best Sound for Olivier Mauvezin (production sound), Nicolas Moreau (sound editing) & Stéphane Thiébaut (sound mixing).
Great result for the Fémis Class of '91!
Congratulations to Olivier Mauvezin who puts greater reliance for years on DC Audiovisuel rental services for his production sound gear, and to his assistant Stéphane Soye, a DC Audiovisuel former employee, whose efficiency to assist production sound mixers is legendary.
