Argos was designed and assembled by DC Audiovisuel. It is fitted with two inputs routed to the operator's headphone, and two outputs routed from its microphone.
All inputs and outputs can be set to Mike or Line level, and are transformer balanced.
The operator uses two illuminated pushbutton to activate whatever output (PGM or TB).
Priorities and functions of pushbuttons are set at start up, depending on the desired configuration: translation, commentary or intercom.
A total mute of the operator's microphone is performed by a third pushbutton. A rotary knob adjusts the monitoring level of the headphone.
All settings are automatically saved and recalled at startup.
Argos runs on a single 9V alkaline battery, its dimensions are 3.3" x 4.25" x 1.73" and it wheighs 106 oz, including battery.
