To change the main power fuse, unscrew the 10 top screws in order to remove the top panel.
The main fuse is located on the power supply unit PCB, as shown on the photo.
Turn the cap 90° to the left to open the fuse holder.
Replace the fuse with a new identical one (2 A T).
In case the fuse should blow again when you switch the power on, please contact a repair office. more details...
To change the main power fuse, first remove the batteries out of their compartment and unplug any external power supply.
Unscrew the 6 top screws of the top panel and slide it toward the rear.
The main fuse is located at the right rear, near the black converter (see photo).
Replace the defective fuse with a new identical one: 3.15 A T.
The SX-S Sonosax has two fuses: one for the external power inside the mixer, the other for batteries supply, inside the compartment itself.
To change the battery power fuse, first remove the batteries compartment out of its place and remove all batteries.
On the right face of this compartment, unscrew the 2 diagonally nearest screws with the Allen key (1.5 mm) located on the left panel of the compartment and remove the cap.
The fuse is located under the two battery contacts.
Replace the defective fuse with a new identical one: 3.15 A T.
At this place a spare fuse could be attached with some adhesive tape.
Screw back the right cap, insert the batteries in the correct way and clode the left cap.

Flip the mixer and lay it down on its top, unscrew the 6 bottom screws with the Allen key (1,5 mm) that could be found on the left panel of the batteries compartment and remove the cap.
The main fuse is located under the corner of the power ribbon cable, not far from its crossing with the main tranversal modulation wider cable, juste under the main faders.
Just lift up this narrower ribbon cable corner and remove the defective fuse.
Replace the defective fuse with a new identical one: 3.15 A T.
When screwing back the bottom panel, take care to correctly place the dedicated holes for the 12V mike power switches.
Do not remove the cap, which is provided with an absorber in order to optimize the aforementioned acoustic impedance: same remarks as above; moreover, the vents protecting grid, while being rotated, gets twisted and must then be changed.
Take care to keep clean the tight grille which protects the lateral events; because in case of dust or dirt accumulation, the acoustic impedance presented at the sound wave by the tube is modified by it and consequently the microphone directivity and response are also altered.
