Sound Devices SD 442, at the leading edge of technology, new craze of sound mixers, concentrates all possible and conceivable combinations of inputs, outputs and monitor returns in a small volume. It can provide simultaneously separate sends toward two recorders and a multitrack (4 direct out pre-fader) and allows two separate stereo returns control. An internal microprocessor controls display setup, reference level generator, output levels, limiters, monitor return and slate mike routing. Add thereto very low power consumption, continuously adjustable input trim and low-cut filter, a limiter per channel, level meter clearly legible in every situation, and you will understand the dazzling success of this device.
