In a few wordsWhen sync labs are transferring sound (TC ¼" audio tape, DAT or Hard Drive) and picture to a video tape (Beta, DVC), they sometimes encounter problems inherent to sequential access: a too short preroll or a break in the tape Time Code can result in a rather tricky dual remote-control. That's the reason why DC Audiovisuel technicians prefer carrying out sound transfer first to hard drive and then synchronize sound and picture. This is done either directly in AVID system and afterwards transferred to a video tape, or directly to a video tape. |
