Manfrotto 143 magic arm, necessary to attach its umbrella to the sound cart, provided with a Super Clamp Manfrotto 035, will be also useful for a fixed mike setup and avoids disturbing the grips or electricians without reason. Also available at DC Audiovisuel, one should prefer, for a more precise and nimble mike placement, the mini articulated arm Manfrotto 196 whose length is the same and which offers three friction articulations, or the flex arm 237 for its pliability and its sturdiness.
