In a few wordsDA-88 or 98 Copy to Pro Tools or Pyramix process consists in transferring the DA-88 or DA-98 eight tracks to a digital audio workstation (Pro Tools, Pyramix) via a TDIF/AES interface. Production companies indeed quite often send abroad the various sound elements of a completed film on Hi-8 cassette (V.O, V.I, foleys, musics, aso) rather than on 35 mm reels: this is less bulky and lighter, and, moreover, all the elements are synchronous, thus leading to an easier remix. Compatibility problems between devices may nevertheless happen; this is why DC Audiovisuel has several DA-88 and DA-98 available in order to lessen this incompatibility risk. |

| Rental rates are displayed on a daily basis excluding of tax, excluding of insurance, unless customized terms and don't take into account flat rates. Digital audio workstation rental is only possible on a weekly basis. One week rate is four times a day and additional day rate is 1/5 week rate. Post-production and Services rates are per hour respectively divided by quarter and by half an hour. Sale prices are excluding vat. |
