Single body stereo MS condenser pair with full Rycote and MS matrix

In a few words

Neumann RSM 191 is an MS pair made up of one hypercardioïd capsule (M), of KMR 81i type, and one figure-8 capsule (S) mounted in close proximity and joined together in the same interference tube. Designed for outdoors use, it is supplied with a Neumann shock mount and a Rycote windscreen, together with MTX 191 A matrix amplifier, which allows:
- 9 volts battery system powering (for lack of Phantom powering),
- 10 dB both signals attenuation,
- low-cut filter on both signals,
- signal matrixing in order to directly record XY stereo.
Let's add that, because of manufacturing technology, S capsule is thermal shock and damp sensitive.
