In a few words

The small Black Box 105a-X - 113-X system allows wireless transmitting of any Time Code format. As information transmission does not need large band-width nor high dynamics, system range is rather increased: it can reach tens of meters, or even more than one hundred meters. Transmitter must be placed close to the master clock (on camera, in control room, on tape recorder output?), and can be powered through camera. Several receivers can be connected to sound recorder (DAT TC, Nagra TC, etc?), to an electronic slate, to a second camera, to video tape recorder, etc.

Our recommendations:

Be careful, on steadycam shots, that 433 MHz frequency does not interfere with camera remote controls (focus, zoom, spot...)
