In a few words

Denecke TS-3 electronic slate is used mainly on video clip shoots; equipped with a wireless receiver, whose transmitter is connected to the output of a playback device (LTC output for a TC DAT or audio track output on wich time code has been recorded), it allows knowing precisely which part of the musical sample matches filmed pictures. The TS-3 is also used on TV films where camera does not have clear Time Code marking: codes are captured on editing workstation.
It is possible to adjust low display intensity and electro-luminescent backlit display is available, useful during night shoots and on dimly lit stages.
Let’s underline the fact that TS-3 slate has, in option, an internally mounted syncbox Time Code generator, automatically jammed to the input signal (code and format).
