Sennheiser MZA 14 P 48 is a compact sized box which generates 48 V Phantom power with only one single 9 volt battery: when it was released, almost twenty years ago, such a converter was a real technological projection. This box offers a two positions low-cut filter and an extremely useful attenuator when using a dynamic mike preamp, since condenser mike sensitivity is at least 12 dB higher.
