In a few words

Worthy substitute for MDR-V6, Sony MDR-7506 is the most used monitoring headphone, after Sennheiser HD 25; it's a good headphone reference. Treble is clear; at normal level, bass doesn't spoil spectrum. These headphones are very comfortable even after several hours use.

Sony MDR-7506 has good sensitivity and good sound insulation. Its only weak point could be its lack of sturdiness for rough users and its lack of performance for high dynamic sounds.

Our recommendations:

It is no use to try to change capsules; Sony spare parts are more expensive than full headphone.

Rental rates are displayed on a daily basis excluding of tax, excluding of insurance, unless customized terms and don't take into account flat rates. Digital audio workstation rental is only possible on a weekly basis. One week rate is four times a day and additional day rate is 1/5 week rate. Post-production and Services rates are per hour respectively divided by quarter and by half an hour. Sale prices are excluding vat.
