With this new XLR plug, jointly designed with the University of Karlsruhe and Schoeps microphones manufacturer, Neutrik succeeds in eliminating RF-interference. Indeed, this connector integrates a LC filter which makes it possible to reduce in a very significant way the noise induced by the RF-interference, while guaranteeing the continuity of the shielding.

Another function of this filter is to solve the problem of ground loops which often occur on TV sets and in recording studios.

EMC-XLR plug is only available in 3 poles female NC3FXX-EMC and male NC3MXX-EMC.

From November '05, DCA will be able to provide you with cables and adaptators using these new connectors.
