Not very cumbersome, rather light, a little less than 66 lbs, very sturdy, it runs as well on AC power, as on a 110 Ah battery for around two hours. Unfortunately the SMO (PMI younger sister) won’t be able to help you.
It is easily carried in the trunk of a 4 CV Renault.
But since the beginning of 2007, still at the same address (only phone number has changed: +33 1 44 37 93 00), A.I.R has just replaced the "Monitor 730". A.I.R is a portable, autonomous, Radio Interferences Analyzer, definitely lighter, less power consuming, as tube monitor has been replaced by an LCD display. A.I.R much higher sensitivity makes it possible to visualize the presence of perturbing frequencies in the 470 - 870 MHz band, such as Digital TV frequencies.
And a simple bicycle (complying with the Kyoto Protocol) will carry it throughout the world.
The A.I.R is now available for rental at the rate of 15 euro per day, 60 euro per week. |
