| Thanks to the adaptation of "callipygian" headphones, DCA has managed to obtain Stereo Surround sound monitoring, integrating two miniature loudspeakers in each shell, with acoustic adaptation according to JECKLIN disc principle. |
|
 |
These headphones are used with the famous Double-MS Schoeps set which requires only three mics to record 5.0 surround.
This system, like any MS device, is made up of one figure-8 mic and two back-to-back cardioid mics.
Monitoring is carried out through a double OTOQUAD which makes possible sound-image processing in five directions and thus, on field shoots, to enjoy post-production type monitoring.
These headphones are currently used by Eric Rophé on the shooting of Laurent Boutonnat film "Jacquou le Croquant". |
